- Effectively prioritizes sitewide projects and interfaces with support functions and facility resources to drive projects to successful completion through project governance. Indirectly manages resources and may directly manage resources.
- Independently plan, execute, and direct cross functional engineering projects or programs, that may cross traditional product lines. Apply new approaches to problems encountered through adaptations and modifications of standard engineering principles.
- Accountable for project or program performance, schedule and manage project costs (all financial aspects). Identify and resolve complex problems, including the development of new design experiments, without supervision.
- Provide supervision to project support staff, such as contractors, engineers, and technicians.
- Formulate and recommend engineering policies and technical work in accordance with project and business objectives.
- Develops or participates in the development of solutions to problems specific to assigned project.
- Writes and/or executes qualification protocols for various pieces of equipment.
- Optimize manufacturing processes and equipment by identifying process improvements.
- Develops projects from feasibility and concept development through testing, implementation, operational start up and training.
- Works with manufacturing and other functional groups on manufacturing regulatory compliance issues.
- Designs and performs routine testing, project experiments, analysis of data and reports results.
- Develop and provide guidance on project management standards, tools, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree or above in an Engineering field required (Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering) with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Project Experience will be considered an asset
