As a valued member of our team at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you will have the exceptional opportunity to join our world-class Finance department as a Finance Analyst, Treasury. Operating in over 100 countries, Baxter is a global leader in the healthcare industry, and this role will play a key part in our Treasury operations in the APAC region.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Manager – APAC Treasury Management and gain valuable experience in daily cash administration, movement, and tracking for Baxter in the APAC region. Your role will involve ensuring the timely and accurate execution of payment transactions and maintaining a strong banking structure foundation for APAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of cash movement transactions for countries under the team's management, assisting with different Treasury tasks including in-house bank operations, intercompany loan transfers, netting operations, cash funding transfers, and foreign exchange conversions.
  • Familiarize yourself with local entity liquidity forecasts to strategically position cash in the region to meet financial obligations.
  • Administer bank accounts, bank portals, and perform bank fee analysis to ensure the accuracy and control of our APAC banking structure.
  • Collaborate closely with Treasury, Accounting, and other Baxter Business Services (BBS) team members, as well as third-party service providers, to streamline processes, resolve any execution or reporting issues, and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Develop expertise in the Kyriba Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring 100% automation of bank reporting and A/P, A/R reconciliation.
  • Administer process controls and reporting, including Audit Records, SOX, and FBAR, to meet Treasury requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience in the country).
  • Familiarity with company financial reporting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in APAC transitioning is a plus.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management Software is a plus.
  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to understand and apply technical skills and financial knowledge, while consistently paying close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of PC applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
