Your Role at Baxter

This position is responsible for suggesting improvements and coordinating a variety of processes which may include warehousing, inventory management, capacity planning, material planning and new product introductions. Formulate and develop new or modified solutions to business issues affecting the supply chain function. Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems.  Track KPI’s and report on supply chain’s performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Structuring large data sets from multiple systems to collect and analyze data.

  • Regularly generate reports and track KPIs to analyze actual performance versus targeted performance.

  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and serve as a consultant and implement process improvements.

  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-inventory management, capacity planning, material planning and new product introductions)

  • Identifies and develops systems and/or applications in conjunction with IT to aid in the reporting and processing of data.

  • Help foster trusting relationships with business partners.

  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems.

  • May have responsibility for inventory control procedures.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • APICS certification preferred.

  • A minimum of two years applicable work experience required.

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry background desired.

  • Project management experience desirable.

  • Comprehension of materials and other procurement, supply chain systems preferred.

  • Advanced Computer skills and software knowledge: MS Office, ERP and planning systems.

  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting (Business Intelligence software)

  • Familiarity with supply chain processes.

  • Highly analytical with business acumen.

  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Project management experience and strong organizational skills

  • Good presentation and written and verbal communication skills

  • Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.

  • Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $76,000 - $104,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus.
