Role Summary:

Responsible for business development and project objectives across the country for Healthcare Systems & Technologies. To work along with the sales team to define and manage key strategic initiatives to build the business in India. Builds relationships with key decision makers in buying organizations that meet the objectives of the multi-source sales and marketing strategy. Responsible for developing and evaluating strategies to ensure achievement of sales profit targets for the business unit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage business development strategies in conjunction with Marketing in identified Key Accounts to drive results and modifies strategies as necessary to achieve pre-defined sales and profit targets.
  • Work closely with sales team in implementing multi-source product sales and marketing strategy.
  • Make field visits and establish strong relationships with key decision makers and committees within buying organizations. Use the key account management approach to establish new or use the existing business models to dive business.
  • Work long with Marketing to drive execution of laid down strategies.
  • Direct the collection and analysis of market data. Utilizes qualitative and quantitative data to support business analytics and support to drive overall business goals for the BU.
  • Closely monitor and report competitive activity, including all competitive bids at formal bid openings.
  • Responsible for providing a rolled-up forecast with input from the regions.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree or MBA equivalent preferred, with a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated successful relevant medical equipment project sales experience.
  • The individual must have strong business acumen, financial and negotiation skills as well as sales/organization management skills.
  • Be skilled in verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to exhibit analytical, strategic and creative thinking as well as create strategy and translate into operational plans.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a matrix sales organization and work in cross functional teams.
