Your role at Baxter
Experienced Senior Manager of the DevSecOps Center of Excellence to lead our effort to establish and promote DevSecOps practices across the organization. The Senior Manager will be responsible forestablishing best practices, driving innovation, and ensuring the security of our applications and systems
What you'll be doing
Implement security best practices and ensure that all security processes are streamlined and efficient
Integrate security tools into the development pipeline and work with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into the software development life cycle
Stay current with industry trends and technologies, and recommend new solutions to improve the security of the DevOps processes
Participate in DevSecOps adoption initiatives and train teams on DevSecOps methodologies and best practices.
Champion continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices, processes, and tools
Promote and facilitate DevSecOps best practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, and security
Develop and maintain DevSecOps playbooks and frameworks to ensure consistency and alignment across teams.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT operations and security, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
Strong technical background in security technologies, including experience with DevSecOps practices
Knowledge of DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes) and security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, CIS, NIST).
Excellent project management skills and experience
Must have strong English language skills and be comfortable conversing in English
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
