Summary

The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating training and development within the Operations department at the Baxter Sandyford Compounding Facility. This is a maternity cover role, with the possibility of securing a position as an On the Job Trainer at the end of the 12-month term.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Training Coordinator is accountable and responsible for the following activities:

• Identification of training needs, coordination and scheduling of training activities
• Performing training gap analysis for the site and finding opportunities for improvement
• Management of new starts to include induction training and preparation of training modules/packs
• Coordinate new starter requirements in relation to system access
• Maintenance of personnel training files    
• Production support on training and development
• Departmental support on training and development
• Use of BaxU system
• Support NCR’s/CAPA’s related to training
• Maintenance of site training matrix
• Support the review and update of SOPs and production procedures
• Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as applicable
• Compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements
• Refer to Workday for organisational structure
• Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as applicable
• Compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Experience working within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment with focus on documentation requirements.

SKILLS

• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to tailor message to different audiences;
• Self-starter - ability to work on own initiative;
• Attentive to detail
• Team player.
