Your role at Baxter:

A great opportunity to start your career in Baxter as a Technician in Production to join a small team based in our Sandyford Site in Dublin 18.

Purpose of this Role: - Production Technician

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the TECHNICIAN is responsible for supporting aseptic manufacturing in a cleanroom environment. As a Production Technician with Baxter, you’ll understand the importance of the role you play in delivering safe, good quality products to our communities - now more than ever.

Our teams work shift in a 3 week rotation - 2 x early (07:00 - 3:30pm

1 x late (2:30pm - 10:30pm) - Monday to Friday (No weekend or overnights). This is subject to change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Picking of Raw Materials for daily manufacturing.
• Preparation of components for use in Validation work
• Sanitisation of equipment for use in graded cleanrooms.
• Performing environmental monitoring (when required)
• Assisting in Cleanroom activities including basic aseptic techniques
• Labelling/Packing of finished product
• Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as applicable
• Compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Experience beneficial but not crucial
• A knowledge of GMP is desirable
• An interest in learning new technologies and practices
• Self-motivated with good communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Analytical and meticulous approach to resolving problems
• Highly attentive to detail
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize the daily work schedule
• Adaptable to carrying out different tasks based on the daily scheduling of staff
• Establish and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships
