Job Description

Your role

The Sr. Manager, HR Talent Management will play a key role in the Talent Management team by leading several key components of Baxter’s global Talent Management strategy including development programs and learning solutions, as well as meaningful contributions across TM sub-disciplines. The person in this role will partner with other members of Talent Management team, along with business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand the opportunities as they relate to learning and leadership.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the identification, development, and execution of learning and development programs that support the long term, strategic growth of the organization
  • Provide thought leadership needed to craft and evolve our leadership philosophy and framework while also ensuring that we build leadership capabilities at every level across the organization
  • Design, development, and implementation of large-scale, global talent and culture initiatives and programs such as leadership development, organization efficiency, and/or team development
  • Build and implement communication and change plans to support organizational, leadership, and talent programs using validated change management methodologies
  • Partner with internal and external team members to lead talent initiatives and programs
  • Facilitate learning programs/content in a variety of modalities: as a mentor, instructor led facilitation (classroom and virtual), or driver of content
  • Select and/or craft appropriate solutions for team development, improvement of team dynamics, and overall team efficiency
  • Craft and develop modern and innovative learning and engagement programs that demonstrates outstanding technology and future trends to reach stated objectives
  • Provide direction on and build key performance indicators for learning initiatives and leverage feedback mechanisms to analyze effectiveness and drive design adjustments
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, leaders and key partners to understand opportunities and provide functional solutions that deliver value to the business

What you will bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in HR/Psychology/Leadership/Training and Development/or country equivalent is required. An MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Leadership Development/HR/Talent Management/Change Management
  • Proficiency in developing and deploying developmental initiatives that align to the business strategy
  • Demonstrate strategic design, implementation, and program management of large-scale developmental programs and initiatives
  • Experience collaborating with leaders and team members to establish excellent client relationships and be a strategic partner across a matrix environment
  • Ability to anticipate situations, stay ahead of trends, and develop original and talent, learning, and organizational effectiveness solutions
  • Proficiency in program/project management and ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong facilitation skills in a variety of settings: small group, large group, virtual or classroom setting
  • Ability to anticipate situations, stay ahead of trends and develop impactful talent, learning, and organizational effectiveness solutions
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor others

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 to $176,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
