Our Castlebar, Co Mayo site is looking for you to join our team as a Process Technician. This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with multiple teams including Production, Engineering and other support functions. The role will be specifically required for our Monday to Friday Night Shift. The role comes with a fantastic salary and full benefits package.

Your responsibilities as a Process Technician at Baxter?
In this role, you will be required to:
- The Process Technician has responsibility for equipment performance and output while possessing interpersonal and team building skills
- Responsible for ensuring that the line operators and line checkers are working to effectively maintain product quality to the standards described in the router and procedure specifications
- Is authorised to reject product and to stop processes in the event of problems.
- Must make every effort to ensure there is a clear cut off for segregation and control of the effected materials or product
- If the Process Technician is unclear or has insufficient information to make a decision, they must contact the appropriate department/supervisor or raise an exception report requesting Q.A. review and disposition
- May also have the responsibility for performing the duties of other employees within the department
What we require from you?
- Certificate level in Pneumatics and / or Electrical / Mechanical processes an advantage
- Ideally two years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a flexible and innovative approach to manufacturing methods and work practices. The role will require the ability to combine technical skills with supervisory ability
- Proven track record in a supervisory role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to think analytically and innovate to achieve goals
