Your Role at Baxter

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for directing the dedicated work force in the required tasks to complete the daily facility maintenance obligations.This person will ensure all facility preventative and demand maintenance is completed efficiently and timely, utilizing proper industry recognized practices.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Maintenance supervisor
- interacts with GLC employees, maintenance team and management daily
- assigns tasks to personnel to perform
- meet productivity standards set by management without call backs
- ensure all assigned tasks are completed for all team members as assigned, must ensure 100% PM compliance monthly.
Department compliance
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed for self, as well as all team members
- Must ensure 100% PM compliance monthly.
- Ensure all equipment down time is limited and overall EEO is greater than 95%
- Ensure 6s inspections and all department safety initiatives are met.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs as directed
- Assist other team members in meeting objectives
- Perform miscellaneous duties, as assigned to meet facility objectives
- Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements including spills, damages, housekeeping, pest control, as assigned.

What you'll bring

- H.S. Degree or GED required but Associates Degree preferred

- 5 years of facility maintenance experience

- Previous work in Facilities Maintenance

- Previous Supervisory Experience, preferred

- Must be able to operate PIT

- General Knowledge of Equipment Operation, Preventive Maintenance, and Repair

- Effective Communication; with Leadership, Vendors, Coworkers, etc
- Able to Work Independently without direct Supervision
- Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $56,000 - $77,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
