Overview

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Your Team

As an Account Executive, you will drive the sales of Baxter capital equipment including frames, stretchers, maternal products, connected care solutions, nurse calls, smart device integration, and patient sensing technologies. Your sales will range from approx. $3M to $9M.

You will be the pivotal sales executive to sales specialists (clinical and technical) and team with local leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Baxter vision, products, and programs within the assigned territory and account base.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Generate new sales opportunities and maintain existing business

  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the corporation

  • Conduct negotiations and finalize sales

  • Lead the sales specialists and services personnel to drive new deals

  • Supervise the installation of new products post-delivery to the customers

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred or 7 + years of related sales experience, preferably selling medical equipment.

  • Outstanding communication skills and public speaking.

  • High level of motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity.

  • Excellent influential skills.

  • Ability to execute strong strategy plans, and to bring tasks to completion.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel up to 50% - 75%, with overnight regional travel expected, occasional National travel possible.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive).
