Title: Sr Specialist, IT - CRM Services, & Portals

Location: Bangalore

Your role

The Specialist IT-CRM Product Development is responsible for supporting the development of technical solutions for Service Portals using Salesforce.com. This includes analyzing requirements, tracking development progress, and ensuring that the product meets customer needs and expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in CRM product development, and excellent analytical skills. They must also be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have a passion for driving innovation and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for technical guidance to the Development team 
  • Design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing Salesforce.com and Force.com. 
  • Provide hands-on development to solve complex portions of applications as a “master developer” 
  • Responsible for ensuring overall quality of the product by performing code reviews, technical design reviews etc. 
  • Integrate multiple technologies with Salesforce.com/Force.com. 
  • Map functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality. 
  • Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery. 
  • Mentor junior team members in Salesforce.com technology, Force.com, Integration Technologies, and Salesforce.com best practices. 
  • Provide guidance to testing team on Test Approach for complex requirements 
  • Work with Platform Architecture team in designing complex solutions; identifying technical refactoring backlog / requirements. 
  • Responsible for ensuring technical performance optimization and scalability 
  • Collaborate with external development teams
  • Interact regularly with internal business partners to understand their business and develop needed IT solutions
  • Review project teams' work to ensure quality (design walk-through, code review, test results, etc.) and alignment to the processes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Create and maintain technical system documentation
  • Partner w/the validation & business teams to develop & execute validation test cases, scripts and plans.

What you’ll bring

  • Good understanding in the full life cycle of the software development environment using waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Ability to provide broad and deep technical leadership and cohesive design approaches for strategic efforts.
  • Work closely with Architecture and System teams to define technical development guidelines and security guidelines for Salesforce based applications.
  • Thorough knowledge in Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce1 and Force.com platform capabilities is a must
  • Thorough knowledge in Lightning Components; LWCs; Web portal development and SF Communities 
  • Participate in design discussions and provide Salesforce expertise to implements standards based functionalities
  • Have capability to lead a team involving onsite and offshore team on all technical related tasks around Salesforce development
  • Working experience with Salesforce Integrations with 3rd party systems
  • Ability to develop and hands on work during sprints.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools such as AutoRabit, Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • Ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in the organization
  • Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation experience, Salesforce.com 
  • Experience with various capabilities offered by the platform including Workflow, Chatter, Knowledge, Communities, etc.
  • Data Migration, SSO and web services experience involving Salesforce platform

  • Salesforce Platform: 6 years 
  • Service Cloud : 4 Years 
  • APEX: 3 years  
  • Visualforce: 3 years 
  • Integrations: 3 Years 
  • Community Development: 3 Years  
  • Lightning Component Development : 3 Years 
  • Certifications Administrator/Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I; PD II; Experience Cloud Certification 

Preferred skills: 

  • Experience developing responsive UI using HTML5 toolset and libraries.  
  • Experience in SFDC Integration with ERP Systems
