Your role at Baxter:

As a Maintenance Coordinator this is where you'll be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the maintenance and custodial operations of the manufacturing area. You'll lead all aspects of facilities and equipment maintenance, contract management, among other functions.

You'll be responsible for the operation of automated machines, solving technical systems and implementing improvement & automation projects.

The department's mission is to maintain all equipment in optimal working order and to make the necessary technological improvements, maintain existing equipment and introduce new equipment.

They support Baxter's mission by ensuring that products are delivered with the quality necessary to ensure patient health.

The main lever of this team is collaboration, partnership.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinates the realization of all preventive's maintenance of equipment, machine, tooling, fixtures and peripheries.
  • Developing and implementing of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program, planning, coordination and implementation weekly, monthly and seasonal job priorities.
  • Coordinates extraordinary maintenance repair (Routine Maintenance) affairs relative to all equipment/automation machines operation.
  • Monitor the maintenance cost related to Spare Parts and labor.
  • Establishes and maintains a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
  • Provide technical training support to the manufacturing operators, maintenance technicians and peers.
  • Establish a customer/supplier links for manufacturing areas.
  • Trains new associates conduct cross training (Rotated to regular associates and keep informed the supervisor of the Training progress).
  • Keep process monitoring on quality and performance targets for FF&S and band sealer machines.

What you’ll bring:

  • Engineering Degree or Technologist (Automation / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / BSEE BSME).
  • 2-5 years related experience.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Prepare in-depth cost estimates and scopes of work.

  • Ability to discuss normally encountered technical or project management issues, both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to solve routine-design, engineering problems with assistance.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Experience in a supervisory position.
  • Proven ability in a wide range of maintenance skills such as mechanics, electrical, use of manual and mechanical tools.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • Availability: B Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm / Monday to Friday).
