Your role at Baxter:
As an Automation Draftsman (3D CAD), this is where you'll have the opportunity to create and update drawings using the CAD system. You'll be in charge of crafting and drawing components or parts for our projects. You'll also prepare production flow diagrams and documentation for each of our processes.

The automation team is responsible for providing support to the organization by implementing new technologies and developing new processes. It is a department of direct support to each of the projects that are carried out in our sites providing direct support at the technical level.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more sophisticated drawings (plant engineering).
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with engineers to ensure consistent documentation.
- Analyzes the technical specifications to perform complementary calculations of the materials, tools, per the adjustments and technical and safety standards.
- Elaborates basic or interpretation schemes, in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and architectural systems, as well as in equipment and installations.
- Elaborates drawing for fixture used in manufacturing floors.
- Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment installations: equipment and plant engineering.
- Uses CAD software to draw.
- Recognizes characteristics of the materials and of the standardized elements-components that is used in manufacturing and industrial production.
- Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (like drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and /performance guarantees) for future reference.
- Observe all company and regulatory EHS requirements.
What you'll bring:
- Technical or bachelor’s degree (Process design / Industrial design / CAD design/ Electrical / Mechatronic) or related.
- 0 to 3+ years related experience.
- Ability to discuss normally encountered technical issues, both verbally and in written form.
- Operational skills, as well as technological knowledge of the production processes, installation of equipment and machinery
- Ability for geometric drawing, engineering problems with assistance.
- Technical english and spanish.
