Your role at Baxter:

We plan, develop and control tasks related to the effective management of materials procurement for domestic and international suppliers. We work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the arrival of material based on changes in product volume. We support and ensure material procurement for VIP, TCO, NPI projects at the Monterrey plant, working with suppliers to create a strong supply chain during and after project implementation.We analyze weekly demand changes impact to materials requirements within the portfolio assigned and develop strategies to mitigate risk.

What you'll be doing

• Analyze changes in demand for the assigned portfolio.
• Develop continuous improvement projects by supplier or component, which chip in to meeting the demand for material. Analyze and implement pass-in-out in TCO projects.
• Approval of MOD/SUS in Agile according to the effective dates analyzed and agreed with the engineering department, also, approval of SCN in Agile.
• Generate and complete VIP projects related to the purchasing area and support projects led by other departments.
• Procure materials related to MOD/SUS/SCN or any other project from the moment it is identified, until 3 months after its implementation, as well as, answer assigned NCMR and NCR
• Collaboration with NPI Sourcing Leaders and Project Managers, to support the introduction of a new product in Monterrey.

What you'll bring

Graduate (International Business, Industrial Engineer, Administration/Engineering degree)

3 -4 years of experience in materials (purchasing or planning)

Bilingual (English - Spanish)

ERP Knowledge (JDEdwards, preferrable)
