Supply Chain Planning Coordinator

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Planning Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of raw materials and production activities to meet customer demand, inventory objectives, and operational targets. This role coordinates material planning, procurement scheduling, production line loading, and supply chain execution activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support efficient manufacturing operations. The position plays a key role in balancing material availability, production requirements, and inventory levels while proactively managing supply risks and driving continuous improvement in planning systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end raw material planning activities, ensuring the timely creation and execution of purchase orders with internal and external suppliers in line with production requirements and inventory targets.
• Monitor and maintain planning parameters within planning systems (e.g., RapidResponse) to ensure accurate procurement and supply plans that support operational and business objectives.
• Coordinate with network planners, procurement teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and manufacturing teams to resolve material supply issues and mitigate potential risks to production.
• Develop and communicate material and production plans, providing timely updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment across the supply chain.
• Operate and manage production planning and line loading processes to generate and sequence manufacturing orders in line with forecasts, the Master Production Schedule (MPS), and capacity requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to ensure all required documentation and batch records are prepared and available ahead of scheduled manufacturing activities.
• Monitor production performance through regular analysis of planning and operational reports, identifying potential shortages or constraints and developing alternative plans to maintain production continuity.
• Support the continuous improvement, maintenance, and development of planning systems, tools, and processes related to procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving supply chain efficiency, service levels, and operational performance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree OR Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain planning role managing a complex supply chain and demand pipeline within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, material planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with ERP/planning systems and cross-functional stakeholders.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €27 200.00 ​annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
