The Role: Stock Controller/Compounding Assistant

A great opportunity has become available for a Stock Controller/Compounding Assistant to join our Compounding Team in a Full-time, Permanent role on site at our Kurralta Park Facility.

The main purpose of this position is to be responsible for the receipt and processing of pharmaceutical orders and material movement throughout the pharmacy that meets with internal/external customer’s requirements and ensures the smooth running of production. You will also be supporting efficient and accurate production of Baxter Healthcare's compounded products. This would involve various tasks, including the picking and preparation of raw materials, labelling, inspection, sealing, packing, labelling, and dispatching of finished units.

Key Responsibilities:

·Ordering of rawmaterials and consumables from Baxter warehouses

·Monitor coveragelevels and communicatelow stock position to the supply planners to ensuretimelyresolution

·Maintainappropriatesafety stock levels to avoidany impact to production

·Performreceipting checks of all inventories receivedintoCompounding centre as per receiving process and resolveanydiscrepanciespromptlythrough liaison withinternal and external stakeholders

·Ensure short-dated stock isflagged for review and all potentialopportunities are exploredfrom an early stage to minimise discardrisk

·Perform cycle counts and/or stock take as required by cycle count process.  Discrepanciesexceedingpredefined variance limitswouldrequirethorough investigation and analysisaimed at preventing re-occurrence whereneeded.

·Maintain stock accuracy in production and ERP systems as required. Ensure variances are investigated and necessaryadjustments made to align system quantitieswithphysicalcounts.

·Resolve all delivery or invoicediscrepanciesthrough liaison with the central inventoryteam

·Work closelywith the central inventoryteam on day-to-dayinventory management activities, includingresponding to queries, actioningrequests, and facilitating urgent stock transfers in a timelymanner.

·Manage the warehousespaceefficiently, ensuringtidiness, ease of storage and picking, and maintenance of shelf labelling.

·Picking and preparingrawmaterials

·Labelling, inspection and sealing of compoundedproducts

·Packing of finishedunits for eachorderincluding final inspection of products.

·Labelling and dispatching of preparedproducts.

·Maintaining and housekeeping of work area consumables

Key Requirements of the role include:

·Collaboratingeffectively in ateamenvironment to achievecommon goals in a fast-pacedenvironment.

·Experience in similarroleis essential.

·Demonstrate leadership qualities.

·Ability to workwith minimum supervision.

·Ability to adhere to procedures and very good attention to detail.

·Have basic MS Excel and Outlook and basic mathematics

·Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·Must becomfortable lifting 15-20kg regularly
