Your Role at Baxter

The Promotional Content Librarian function is part of the Global Marketing Operations Organization for the Advanced Surgery Business Unit and will be responsible for performing best-practice advertising/promotional materials management activities for creating, executing, auditing, reporting, and archiving all content and claim assets within our regulated management platform (VEEVA PromoMats).

The librarian will partner with business brand managers to understand advertising/promotional material projects, clinical and non-clinical claim requirements, and promotional production schedules to execute within the application the processes of upload, annotations, workflow imitation and final certification.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Subject matter expert (with a comprehensive understanding of the advertising/promotional process and regulations) for Advanced Surgery advertising/promotional regulatory process and system application in partnership with Brand Marketing, Regulatory, Legal and Medical teams
• Function as the primary point of contact related to the day-to-day execution of advertising/promotional related tasks. Work to answer questions, resolve issues and provide analysis
• Ensure accurate and timely creation and updates of all centrally maintained assets, claim master data elements and approval workflows
• Assist with system/application upgrades and maintenance for User testing and post upgrade verification of success
• Design/build reports to be used for auditing purposes of advertising/promotional content and claims
• Drive innovation and impact analysis of any master claim data attributes, data sources change, improvements or change requests for the overall application life cycle
• Lead the integration of claim data and/or advertising promotional materials resulting from a business purchase or merger
• Lead point of contact for regulatory filing required claim data reporting.

What You'll Bring:

• Working knowledge/experience of the legal/regulatory guidelines for creation and maintenance of advertising/promotional content within the medical marketing industry
• Experience working with different types of advertising and promotional materials and systems (VEEVA PromoMats a MUST)
• Experience in analytics and reporting
• Excellent business acumen including broad knowledge, perspective and judgment on business decision making
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to influence and work across a matrix
• Ability to operate at all levels in the organization, excellent written and oral communication, influencing, negotiation and teamwork skills
• Educational requirements – Minimum bachelor’s degree in communication, English writing or marketing

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $82,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
