Your role at Baxter:

The Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for executing all processes in production while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply. Manufacturing Technician III is expected to fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams which may be applicable. Under the general direction of the lead technician and the overall direction of the supervisor, this position shall be responsible for the hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. In addition to making routine revisions to documents, Manufacturing Technician III may rewrite complex procedures or initiate new procedures as applicable. The incumbent has enough applied technical knowledge to perform complex trouble shooting tasks and may even assist during the transfer of new technologies into manufacturing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and understanding of cGMP regulations.

  • Incumbent must be proficient in a variety of mathematical disciplines and be able to work with both the metric and USA standards of measurement.   

  • Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions.

  • Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.

  • This position requires shift, weekend and holiday workOvertime may be required at times. 

  • The incumbent must work in a clean room/classified environment wearing special garmentsAdditionally, personal protective equipment must be worn due to safety requirements.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word/Excel applications.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Medical Device equipment.

  • Knowledge of chemical and biological safety procedures per applicable guidelines.

What You'll Bring

  • Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing related experience or 

    AA degree with 2-3 years of mfg related experience required or

    Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 months of manufacturing related experience.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $51,200- $70,400 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
