Your role at Baxter

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end finished goods, sub-assembly, and/or raw material planning for a specific range of products sourced from one or more Baxter plants and/or 3rd party manufacturing suppliers. This includes creating MPS, generating purchase orders, managing inventory across the distribution network, monitoring network performance, and communicating potential supply or demand issues. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain planning, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement inventory management plans to optimize finished goods levels, minimize costs, and achieve desired inventory turn targets for each replenishment and distribution center
  • Plan and run inventory builds and ramp downs by warehouse to minimize costs and inventory levels, ensuring service commitments are maintained while operational goals are achieved.
  • Coordinate with DLL schedulers to ensure plan execution
  • Make/manage delivery commitments on MTO products, utilizing available production capacity to satisfy net requirements from both a cost and unit basis.
  • Lead third party procured products’ supply based on net requirements and coordinate with supplier to ensure timely delivery
  • Analyze and identify risks associated with the options built into the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead-times, release-times, etc., and devise strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Manage a finished goods Distribution plan for designated products through a defined network
  • Identify risks to the replenishment plan and collaborate with load-build planners on constraint resolution

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or related field
  • In-depth understanding of all aspects of end-to-end supply chain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to processes. Creates tools that help simplify job tasks and shares these with others
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations
  • Drives results through team leadership and self
  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization, verbally (face to face and virtual) and written
  • Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought
  • Capable to translating complex supply chain challenges into simple communication understood by our partners
  • Able to deal with ambiguity.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $76,000- $104,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
