Your role at Baxter
Evaluate market environments and translate information into marketing strategies to achieve long-term strategic and sales plan goals. The responsibilities range from aligning strategic initiatives with sales to developing vision and strategy for existing product lines and new products. Work closely with thought leaders and key customers to identify unmet needs in the marketplace.
What you'll be doing
Develop strategic marketing direction for the assigned portfolio by ensuring effective implementation of marketing strategies that include: market and competitive intelligence, patient journey, market segmentation, strategic objectives, price strategy, tactical and financial plan, life cycle management strategy
Key interface with global business development groups within Baxter to identify gaps in the portfolio and develop a strategy to fill those gaps.
Ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies, based on KPI´s monitoring
Develop strategic alignment and marketing programs across all Baxter product lines assigned for the LAN region
Develop a strategic business plan, creating an environment of operational excellence to drive the implementation of the strategic business plan
Develop marketing programs and strategies based on benchmarking against best-demonstrated practices within health care markets
Understand customer and market dynamics and trends to provide for customers' unmet needs
Serve as a liaison between Marketing, Medical Affairs, Supply, Reimbursement, and Government Affairs
Responsible for the management of field sales planning and execution, analysis, and sales force incentive compensation and recognition programs
Drive process innovation to develop solutions, efficiencies, achieve results, and enhance customer relationships.
Monitor P&L performance to ensure that the assigned business units meet financial objectives and make strategic adjustments as needed
Measures sales and profit results vs. budget periodically, and keeps the sales force informed. Makes recommendations to the Sales Manager to reach objectives
What you'll bring
Master’s degree preferred with 8 to 12 years of experience in marketing and sales;
Proven track record in launching new products successfully and managing project and sales teams. A background in strategic planning and business development is helpful.
Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen.
Proven track record in leading projects and experienced teams (internal and external resources) to success.
Strong ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs, and assess competitive intelligence data.
Ability to develop and execute communication plans, messaging, and branding campaigns.
Strong skills in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, and creative product/program development
