Your Role at Baxter

THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results!

  • The Manager of Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Operations will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations that support the EPMO’s strategic objectives.
  • This role will report to the Senior Manager of the Project Management Center of Excellence and Program Management Office (Sr Manager, PCOE/PgMO).
  • This position will be responsible for leading a team of Project Coordinators, EPMO Revenue Administrators, and EPMO Quality Analysts, ensuring streamlined processes and operational excellence across the board.
  • Must be adept at driving operational efficiencies, improving productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Will work closely with EPMO leadership and other key cross-functional leaders to support the successful execution of the EPMO’s mission, helping to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget/scope, and with high quality.
  • This is a full-time, remote position. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Project Coordinators, EPMO Revenue Administrators, EPMO Quality Analysts. Provide coaching, feedback, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify, develop, and implement processes that drive operational improvements across the EPMO. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize workflows and ensure consistent execution of best practices.
  • Project Support: Ensure that the EPMO has the vital administrative support for its portfolio of projects, facilitating the smooth progression of initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate of team resources efficiently to ensure that the team is adequately supported in their roles while meeting the various needs of the EPMO.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to measure operational efficiency, project outcomes, and team performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Partnership with Quality Assurance to ensure that the team adheres to established quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Revenue Management: Collaborate with EPMO Leadership and EMPO Revenue administrators to lead EPMO financial and revenue performance, ensuring alignment with interpersonal goals. Such activities will include supporting the EPMO in financial/revenue planning and analysis activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with EPMO leadership and cross-functional teams to align operational activities with broader business goals. Communicate updates, progress, and challenges optimally.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and systems, driving a culture of continuous improvement within the EPMO.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to run multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, financial management systems, and reporting tools. Ability to run pivots and generate reports in Excel is required
  • Experience with quality assurance and financial management is a plus.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $112,000 to $154,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
