Your role at Baxter:
The Sr. Sales Contract Analyst is directly responsible for USHP (US Hospital Products) Key National and Regional Account and Group Purchasing Organization agreements, as well as other non-standard or sophisticated agreements for the assigned sales regions. Support the Contracts Manager by assisting or directly providing leadership and support for product launches, market price changes, payment/accrual analytics, Team contract expiration/renewal activities and other ad-hoc analysis as needed.

We provide analytical and strategic support to the Sales Operations functions, and work collaboratively with various other functions including Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Legal teams. What you'll be doing:
Proactively conducts pricing, compliance and incentive analysis and maintenance on all proposed and executed agreements to ensure pricing guidelines are maintained and pricing, compliance and incentives are aligned to Best Practices for in-system set-up. Leads and supports others in monitoring and maintaining pricing, compliance and incentive maintenance activities.
Will have direct responsibility for Key Accounts and/or more complex agreements from negotiation through execution.
Responsible for contributions to and/or creations of standard operating procedures and the maintenance of those procedures. Coordinate and/or conduct training for new and existing employees. Demonstrate compliance with internal procedures, processes and values. Lead and support individual within teams in day-to-day activities.
Demonstrate Leadership, Speed and Simplicity through process innovation to develop/identify procedural gaps, drive for improvements, efficiencies, achievement of results and improved customer relationships.
Demonstrate initiative and apply depth and breadth of knowledge of Commercial Operations and USHP business acumen to craft and develop reporting and analysis for Commercial Operations, sales professionals and others.
Support the Manager and Team by representing the Contracts Team/Commercial Operations in the development of information systems with the IT group for sales/business analysis and trends. Lead or participate in team and divisional projects.
Work closely with Managers and Directors to further develop skills within areas of responsibilities.
Present to various groups on profit analysis processes, guidelines and results
Dedicated support to specific Sales Management team in the formulation of customer strategies and tactics.
Communicate with Field sales to understand customer needs and business opportunities.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years experience in contract analyst role or similar.
Proven experience leading projects, initiating process improvements and supporting best proven practices and while guiding and supporting others in contributing to the same.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is essential.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Dedication to balancing and meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
Demonstrates ownership for achieving timely and accurate results and supports others in accomplishing the same.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Access, Microsoft Word and database reporting tools.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
