As a Service Contract Specialist, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and advise priorities and changes.

Your Team

The Service Contract Specialist is responsible for providing direct support to a Sales Team and end customers. Emphasis is given on the ongoing development of existing and perspective service customers to ensure that the team is able to meet established growth targets.

Whether out in the field with a partner or tackling challenges with your territory team, you always have camaraderie and support to help accomplish your goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Research accounts, identify key account contacts, and generate interest.

  • Research and prepare pre-call documents for the sales team.

  • Maintain and expand the Salesforce database within the assigned territories.

  • Collaborate with Sales Team to build opportunities and finalize service agreements.

  • Represent Service in a professional and positive manner.

  • Act as a Corporate Liaison for the sales team by working with all Internal Departments.

  • Complete Service Proposals.

  • Acquire purchase orders from end customers for Service Agreements.

  • Manage Salesforce system, including the update of opportunity stages.

  • Manage Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) annual review process.

  • Reconciliation of annual multi-year purchase order service agreements for Sales Team.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years experience in sales or customer service.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Skilled critical thinking.

  • Excellent oral, written, and organization skills.

  • Basic to intermediate computer knowledge and keyboard skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

  • The ability to manage tasks as the arise.

  • Prior sales, customer service, and or call center experience is preferred.

  • Prior selling skills preferably in the health care sector, preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salaryrange of $36,000-90,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/ experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/ office location.
