Your Role at Baxter

In Patient Support Systems (PSS), the sustaining engineering project team handles engineering product changes for released products to achieve company savings goals. You will be part of a cost savings group with project leaders and engineers aiming for annual savings. We develop solutions in a collaborative environment involving various support functions. We foresee changing project needs and address issues to avoid delays and disruptions for operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Proficient in CAD and the use of FEA tools.
• Stack up analysis experience.
• Ability to generate alternative solutions to problems or processes, with an emphasis on building for technical cost reductions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000- $176,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
