Your role at Baxter:

As Engineer I, Project you I’ll provide a wide range of engineering works to fully support the activities related to process or product, introduction and validation of medical devices manufactured in Haina facility.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform and assists in the implementation and development of process or product designs, changes, materials selection and manufacturing techniques.
• Perform validations using local or external engineering resources.
• Participate in the development of new processes or products from concept / design stages through introduction into manufacturing.
• Use project management principles and fundamentals to all product and processes changes.
• Work with product development process requirements to fully develop products for International markets.
• Implement in validations (FOC / COB) using Local engineering resources with coordination with the different departments (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, etc).
• Coordinate and perform local and divisional engineering project activities under supervision.
• Perform standard cost revision, quotation process, as required and process improvement projects under supervision.
• Support launch of new products.
• Implement value improvement projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant VIP program.
• Perform statistical and analytical analysis on process or product related conditions.
• Use Six-sigma engineering tools.
• Conduct process or product transfer activities from divisional or international facilities to the Haina manufacturing areas.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Fully computer knowledge (MS package, MS Project)
• 2 years of experience in related field.
• Problem Solving
• Orderly, dynamic and responsible.
• Project Management
• Bilingual (Spanish and English).
