KEY SELECTION CRITERIA (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or master’s in pharmacy or equivalent

Experience Range (desirable)

Between 10 - 15 years 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

Tasks: (list of tasks/ activities related to the Job Role)

To ensure the people are adhered with Baxter safety policy and guidelines.

To ensure that each employee raises or escalates safety hazards and ensure that all people wear the PPEs while working in routine operation/maintenance of any machine as per requirements.

To ensure behaviour of staff and workers in clean rooms and in production area is as per Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) norms

Ensures supply of raw materials, components, and other products for production along with checking of equipment availability and operational status.

Maintain and improve Departmental operational performance to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities, Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), External and Internal customers, with respect to quality, service, lead time and cost.

Participate in continuous improvement in the manufacturing facility to enable production to be conducted effectively and efficiently.

To supervise daily production output with quality parameter.

To involve in production plan of every month and manage/control production output within acceptable yield criteria.

To co-ordinate with Engineering department for the plant related breakdown maintenance and Preventive Maintenance work.

To identify training needs of team members and ensure training is delivered to upgrade skills and create awareness with reference to cGMP norms.

To carry out self-audit/GEMBA for the production and other related areas & ensure remediation of any abnormality through established systems & processes

Ensure appropriate investigation of discrepancies, errors, complaints, failures (NCR) or adverse events requiring documented review and action; if necessary, stop processes causing material to be quarantined or placed on hold until matters are resolved.

To carry out daily break down analysis and make the action plan to reduce the breakdown in consultation with Engineering Manager.

To communicate to all shifts personnel about any issue related to production and keep track of the same.

To ensure that the packing associated activities are being performed as defined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) / Batch Packing Record (BMR).

To ensure the timely packing of unpacked goods from the General Quarantine area.
