We are looking for a RegionalGEOX project manager who will be responsible for driving GEOX and market development activities in EMEA, mainly focused on ECEMEA. (Eastern & Central Europe. Middle East & Africa)

The role will operate solidly within the EMEA Advanced Surgery vertical structure alongside other regional stakeholders such as Supply Chain, R&D, RA, Market Access, Finance, Medical/Clinical, Training, Legal, Pricing and GBU marketing to ensure that Baxter’s ECEMEA team is supported in launch activities and market development. Regional Market Development partners with countries to enable commercial execution excellence to accelerate profitable sales.

This position can be based in Belgium, Poland and Germany


  • Liaise effectively with GBU, countries and across multiple functions such as ECEMEA marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Market Access, Commercial Excellence (incl Pricing) and Supply Chain to ensure proper alignment on GEOX and market development

  • Analyzes regional GEOX performance and recommends enhancements or corrective actions to plans and capabilities to the BUH

  • Drives and supports business planning

  • Ensures launch timelines are met by troubleshooting and aligning the cross-functional teams

  • Owns launch execution readiness, effectiveness and compliance, identifies root causes behind gaps in new launch performance and drives enhancements to plans

  • Articulates regional needs, Voice of Customer (internal/external) and market intelligence to GBU and/or to relevant regional/country stakeholders

  • Gathers regional inputs for Target Product Profiles (TPP) and coordinates financial business case process

  • Provides data and insight, makes recommendations for on-market product introductions (expansion) and effectiveness to optimize the portfolio in-country growth and profitability

  • Analyses regional pricing strategies for assigned product lines, aligned with the BUH


  • Demonstrated record of success in driving new product sales. Background in either marketing, strategic planning, business development and/or project management required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Medical Device/Pharma industry required; familiarity with Surgery and/or Operating Theatre environment is a clear advantage; understanding of QA/RA and supply chain processes as well as working with distributors is a strong advantage

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) is a plus

  • Previous experience working with the ECEMEA region required

  • Analytical skills with business acumen: Strong strategic thinking coupled with strong project management and execution skills

  • Proactive, takes ownership on processes to ensure success

  • Top communicator, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills as well as critical thinking & proactive, positive drive cross-culturally

  • Proven track record of operating successfully in a matrix, cross functionally and in geographically disperse team environment

  • Ability to embrace and adapt to change, to manage and succeed in ambiguity

  • Travel expected up to 30% of the time.
