Your role at Baxter:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist in Portugal, you will report to the Sr Manager Country QA & RA Iberia and support the implementation of Country QA processes (Good Distribution Practices and Supplier QA management) and will be involved in Post marketing surveillance Activities.
You will be responsible for the Quality management system and documentation, ensuring that processes related to mentioned activities are in compliance with local regulations, to the Corporate Quality Manual and to the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements and ensure appropriate contacts with country Pharmacovigilance, Logistic, Technical Service, Customer Service and Business are maintained.

What are your responsibilities?
- CQA processes
- Ensure service providers for warehouse and distribution comply with Baxter requirements and applicable legislation_ Good Distribution Practice
- Guarantee all process associated with distribution follows Baxter requirements and applicable legislation (eg: returns, release, hold, traceability…)
- Quality system management activities: Training, Non-conformity and CAPA investigation and implementation and internal auditing.
- Post marketing surveillance
- Field Actions execution
- Quality management system and documentation
- Ensure corporate local regulation, Corporate Quality manual, ISO 9001 and 13485 compliances
- Other
- Act at all times in compliance with local legislation and according to Baxter’s Quality Management Systems and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements
We are presently seeking people who have:
- Min of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role- logistics/distribution experience would be an advantage
- University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Natural Sciences or equivalent degree in a scientific field
- Strong analytical/problem solving and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of quality standards (GMP; ISO..), applicable to country regulations (ISO 9001 and 13485 knowledge)
- Great communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Resourceful IT user
