Summary

We are currently looking for someone to join the back office team to provide support with organising the day to day running of the back office and also provide manual handling support with the decontamination and shipping of medical devices.

Decontamination of our medical devices, these units are related to our workshop service, for both internal and external customers.

The role will be based at our high performing Northampton National Distribution Centre, with the hours of work being from 08:45-16:45 Monday to Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of KPI’s within the department
  • Validate service activity has been completed and release devices serviced for Human use
  • UKCWS administration - including import/export documentation & custom clearance activities
  • Data accuracy validation – error reports
  • Loan pool management – stock checks and system validation/investigation
  • Management of KPI’s within the department
  • Handling of equipment (Up to 25kg per unit) and conducting decontamination of units as part of the check in process
  • Ensure all SLA’s are adhered to
  • Ensure all Department KPI’s are met
  • Receive Devices returned to Technical Services in ERP system
  • Keep the system database updated while following available guidelines and processes
  • Spare part creation at local level
  • Collaboration with key stake holders
  • Management of KPI’s within the department

Qualifications & Experience

  • Manual Handing experience
  • GCSE level or equivalent
  • Quality driven - experience of following processes
  • Organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Planning and Prioritisation - working to agreed targets and time frames
  • This function requires an education in general administration or equivalent through experience                              
  • Competence in the use of the most common Microsoft office tools
