As System Support IT Engineer you’ll provide training and technical support on IT products/applications connected to dialysis devices, to Service and Sales Organizations in accordance with plans and priorities established by the System Support Coordinator - Technical in charge for the product line.

You’ll support worldwide Regional Master Trainers, Product Specialist, etc... and act as a channel between the Regional Service/Sales Organizations and Baxter System Support Management/R&D/ Manufacturing for Baxter Monitors, ensuring a good flow of communication around the products through written and regular verbal communication.

As Global Function you will be involved in products development / change as the voice of Service, ensuring the alignment of product features and characteristics to service needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as internal support function for R&D, Quality (technical complaint investigations) and root cause analysis, forwarding relevant Service issues (Help Desk);
  • Participates as System Support representative to periodical conference calls and/or meetings with the Regional Service, Sales & Marketing Organizations, for product feedback and recurrent topics and gives inputs for changes, new requests, etc…;
  • Provides technical education support and trainings when more knowledge is needed;
  • Keeps the technical training material for the relevant products updated;
  • Provides feedback about how the products are used and maintained in “real life” in the Clinics;
  • Manages Technical Service Bulletins (General Information, Commercial Upgrade, Modification Message and Field Action);
  • Cooperates in writing manuals, defining installation and maintenance procedures, and providing info on spare parts;
  • Participates in new product development project and in product care activities being the voice of the customer;


  • High School Diploma or Degree in technical field
  • Knowledge about IT technology and processes
  • Knowledge in medical technology, regulatory requirements, products and components is a plus
  • Teamworking attitude
  • Root Cause Analysis skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent knowledge of English
