The Associate Sales Representative (ASR), for Integrated Care Solutions (ICS), will promote a product portfolio including innovative technologies and therapies for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), multi-organ extracorporeal support therapy, additional dialysis services, and hemodynamic monitoring.  This critical role is considered the expert in CRRT services and hemodynamic monitoring in the Hospital space.

Primary call points include clinicians (physicians and nurses) in the ICU, OR, and ED.

This presents a unique opportunity to break into the medical device sales industry, leveraging your past successes from your B2B or B2C sales experience.  In addition, you can help play an active role in contributing to the overall success of this critical division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding all the products, specialties and devices within the USHP portfolio
  • Covering accounts for the team, interacting with clinicians, and communicating outcomes, changes, and opportunities to the Region Business Manager (RBM), Territory Business Manager (TBM), and Therapy Development Specialist (TDS).
  • Monitoring and building relationships with key hospital staff with new and existing accounts
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting in place equipment and conducting education in-services for Baxter equipment
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers including surgeons, nurses, and ICU/ED/OR staff
  • Effectively receiving and maintaining client relationships and additional business
  • Assisting the new customer onboarding process and ensuring smooth transitions
  • Maintaining on-label usage of Baxter products through presence in the hospital and in-servicing
  • Working closely and communicating with RBM & TBM with the same account responsibilities to maintain existing USHP Baxter Business
  • Working with RBM, TBM, and TDS to develop a plan to reach financial goals and quotas
  • Providing coverage for territories with a TBM/TDS vacancy or cover leaves of absence for a given territory in the Region
  • Handling any broad duties within the region(s). May be required to work outside primary assignments as required by business positions
  • Working autonomously to achieve established goals while proactively communicating with management and team members

  • Balances Stakeholders: Maintains current business and drives sustainable long-term sales growth with existing and new customers through teamwork with internal sales and business partners.  Problem solves and owns customer issues, while ensuring all parties and team members are kept informed of relevant information and resolution to enhance customer loyalty and revenue generation.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant sales experience or 4+ years of relevant sales or operating room/ICU environment experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • At least 75% travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel. Position will have an assigned geographic territory which spans several states.
  • Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Familiarity with posted territory is strongly desired
