We are now hiring for the Product Specialist Advanced Surgery to cover the territory of Slovakia. Our main targets are departments of neurosurgery, cardio surgery, and general surgery in the largest hospitals. We focus on educating and implementing our products into routine use by surgeons. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to develop and maintain a good, long-term working relationship with customers (purchasers, doctors, nurses, heads of department and administrators).
Responsible for the business result of the assigned accounts and/or sales area.
Closely work with her/his supervisor while monitoring national and local key policies that may affect hospital business in designated area
Make field visits, product presentations, seminars, customer trainings including trainings in operation theatres.
Account segmentation and targeting.
Closely monitor and report competitive activities at sales area level
Key account and stakeholder mapping: based on previously identified accounts, identify stakeholders in each of them and develop an action plan.
Develop, implement, and review territory business plans that are aligned to a National strategy, as well as the ability to identify and act upon local opportunities
Ability to use electronic tools to promote the product (iPad)
Portfolios sell to maximize growth opportunities and position appropriate clinical choice for our customers
Understanding of the portfolio Advanced Surgery to be able to provide technical and administrative product information and demonstration
Cooperation with an external expert – KOL management – to discuss activities and future potential.
Preparing of market and potential analyses to prepare suitable activities with focus on selling results.
Monitoring promo budget spent on designated territory
Reporting activities and use of CRM system
OUR REQUIREMENTS ON CANDIDATES:
Master’s degree preferred (Science, Commercial, Medical, …)
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales in pharma business
More than 3 years of experience in sales of medical devices is an advantage (especially to surgical departments)
Demonstrate strong teaching and communication skills, both written and verbal, to support training and education services.
Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Flexible approach to problem solving
Customer relationship building skills
Residence in the western part of Slovakia
Good English language skills (spoken, written, and read) – most of medical and product trainings will be in English
