The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager, Front Line Care (Welch Allyn) has arisen within our Healthcare Systems and Technologies business. The Welch Allyn product portfolio provides Connected Monitoring and Intelligent Diagnostic solutions globally, including a full range of patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology, vision care and physical exam products.

In this national sales leadership role you will lead and manage the ANZ FLC sales team, assisting them in achieving sales targets and building a sustainable business with both new and existing customers. You will work closely with the field sales team enabling them, coaching and mentoring the team on effective territory leadership skills to implement sales strategies while improving market presence of our FLC product portfolio. As a key member of the HST Leadership team, you will participate in weekly/monthly sales manager meetings, reviewing team highlights, monthly sales tracking, and forecasting and providing in-depth insights on customers and the market.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop sales team to ensure they achieve agreed revenue and profit targets by spending 50% time in field
  • Ensure team conduct and customer interactions are in compliance with Baxter’s Global Interactions Policy
  • Actively participate in the leadership team, providing field insights and the voice of the customer during marketing and commercial strategy planning
  • Ensure the sales team completes their weekly Widely Important Goals (WIG) target by monitoring and assisting the team in understanding the importance of this activity
  • Communicate national sales objectives, policies, and programs within the context of the overall corporate plan and prepare national sales budgets, reports, and forecasts as required
  • Conduct Align, Check-in Execute (ACE) check-ins with Key Account Managers, monitoring and evaluating team performance and efficiency, seeking team feedback and providing support as required
  • Maintain strategic engagement with KOLs and key clinicians in line with the business unit strategy
  • Direct national sales activities by setting product mix, geographical sales areas, and customer service standards
  • Work closely with the Marketing team and all other related teams to ensure strong contract relationships management and alignment of commercial strategy.

Key Requirements

  • 5-10 years of Sales Management experience leading sales teams within Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries
  • Proven sales experience with healthcare products and services, especially in the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong customer focus and effective communication skills
  • Analytical, with the ability to understand market trends and identify opportunities by using PowerBI or related visualization tools
  • High level of organization and planning
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and achieve desired outcomes
  • Developed problem-solving and analytical skills for providing advice and assistance to customers and sales teams
  • Financial competence – P&L Management
  • Proficiency in CRM- Salesforce, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
