Your role at Baxter

As a Sr Engineer Projects, you will play a crucial role in crafting, developing, implementing, and evaluating projects and technologies in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support and service, supervising team members, requisitioning necessary resources, documenting project progress, validating results, and delivering training. What you'll be doing

As a Sr Engineer Projects, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities to support the manufacturing processes and products in Aibonito. Your key responsibilities include:

• Implementing, planning, and coordinating inter-departmental activities related to new equipment, equipment and process improvements, and product support.
• Participating in multifunctional projects to align with plant manufacturing strategies.
• Applying standard and advanced technical principles to analyze and resolve process-related issues.
• Identifying manufacturing improvement opportunities and responding to requests for assistance.
• Managing the implementation and validation of all capital projects.
• Reviewing User Requirements Specifications and Scope of Work documents for bidding purposes.
• Writing, executing, and/or supporting various validation activities.
• Coordinating Change Controls, equipment, product, or process validations.
• Assisting in the implementation of new product introductions and existing product design modifications.
• Promoting a zero-harm workplace and ensuring compliance with EHS practices and rules.
• Observing data privacy and confidentiality rules at all times.

What you'll bring

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science Field and 3-5 years of related experience in manufacturing or project engineering in a closely related industry.
• Master's Degree in engineering and 1-2 years of related experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.

Physical demands

This position involves light work, which may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force frequently. The physical demands requirements are more than those for Sedentary Work. This includes tasks such as walking or standing to a significant degree, pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls, and working at a production rate pace.
