Coordinator, Medical Operations
What you'll be doing:
- Project management assistance for Medical Affairs projects (management and monitoring of all medical GRANTS (Interactions with HCP/HCO, IIRs, Symposia’s, educations, donations, sponsoring) within defined segments/divisions
- Briefing with MSL, and medical manager and attending team meetings to ensure the accurate FMV (fair market value hourly rate for local country) and interaction type is assigned
- Ensure the accurate agreement/contract is utilized in line with local country requirements
- Works alongside Medical Operations colleagues in the delivery of a comprehensive Medical Operations service to the local medical affairs team
- HCPs/HCOs end-to-end contract management, in collaboration with compliance and legal colleagues
- Leading initiation of the approval process for the local health authorities as required by local country regulations
- Processing for Baxter interactions in PEGA from end to end
- Participates in communication both internal & external for fulfillment of grant process
- Managing all invoices and timely payments with PEGA Target II and the financial team/controlling
- Budget tracking and order management/invoices/litigation of all projects
- Managing cross-border approvals for respective segment/division
- Coordinating external and web meetings for HCP events
- Preparation for timely closure of all grants and ensuring customer concern if delayed
- Preparing monthly and annual reports to the regional medical directors on grant activity
- Provide support for regional medical directors as and when required to set up regional team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Medical Operations WEU &GEM region
What are we looking for?
- A biomedical, science, or social science degree (or equivalent qualification) preferable
- Evidence of interest in healthcare sciences
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrates clear and effective communication to work closely with internal and external customers
- Good oral and written communication for HCP’s interactions
- Good oral and written communication in English (multilingual preferred)
- Good interpersonal skills and priority management
- Proficiency in tools and processes
- Within this role, it is meaningful to prioritize, plan,n and control the workload, to liaise/connect with the team,m and to have good attention to detail and a high regard for confidentiality
- Operates with a high level of integrity, transparency, and accountability
