Your Team
Baxter is focused on providing chronic renal patients the best possible life by elevating the standards of care across all therapeutic options, whether that be in-center or home care. Baxter is committed to addressing the individual needs of patients by supporting greater access to innovative renal care products, therapies, services and support globally.
What you'll be doing
You’ll join a high-performing global team supporting Baxter’s $2.5B Global Peritoneal Dialysis portfolio; leading $1.6B worth of business
Opportunities to be a key player in global, cross-functional teams including new product development and geo-expansion
Lead the development and launch of major global next generation advancements in the solutions portfolio
Scope of responsibility ranges from identifying needs, developing marketing strategy and materials, and conducting financial analysis
Create strategy, training, and promotional pieces related to the portfolio for healthcare professionals and patients
Develop and evaluate business cases for geo-expansion
Be the commercial and voice of the customer on the Product Core Team (PCT) responsible for operational performance of the PD solution products
Influence the product development cycle for the solutions portfolio
Build fundamental business models that will be used for business forecasting and alignment with capacity planning and long-range plans
Interface with global corporate executives such as the Global Business Unit management team, Regional leadership, and countries
What you'll bring
BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred.
3-5+ years of experience; previous marketing experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or life science industries required
Solid/demonstrated ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data
Proven skills in messaging, branding, creative product/program development, portfolio marketing, and product pricing
Strong results orientation with solid financial/business acumen
Strong team player, willing and able to support other team members as needed to achieve project goals
Promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with leadership, varied teams, peers and client groups
Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders
Track record in successfully launching new products globally and managing projects to successful completion preferred
Proven success in working with global teams is preferred
Experience in renal replacement therapy or similar product/therapy marketing and sales is highly valued
Demonstrated successes in product management and therapy marketing strongly preferred, preferably with some prior experience in software applications in healthcare or in the consumer healthcare space

Strategic Thinking - Solid ability to understand market trends, complex financial data, and customer needs to help define advanced planning/positioning strategies that create value/drive growth. Ability to generate market insights/convert them to a multi-generational product plan.
Customer Focus – A passion to represent Voice of Customer of patients/professionals to understand unmet market needs/cost-effective solutions. A proven track record of managing high profile customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Therapy and Product Expertise – Strong ability to translate therapeutic goals/practices, along with technical product details, into easy to understand features/benefits to position with differentiated communication tools. Ability to design market research, then apply findings to overall education strategies
Strong Team Player - High energy team player with a focus on meeting commitments/ contributing to a high-performance culture, work in a multicultural matrix environment and build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional team members including third party vendors, quality, regulatory, supply chain, customer service, transportation, industry partners, and sales
Communications - Ability to develop/execute verbal and written communication plans, messaging, and brand campaigns across multiple stakeholders, organization levels and functions. Entrepreneurial Mindset – Ability to conceptualize new concepts driven by deep understanding of the users of Sharesource and execute their introduction into revenue generating solutions.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 to $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
