Your Role At Baxter:


The Manager, Talent Management will play a key role on the Talent Management team by leading and supporting sub-disciplines of Baxter’s Kidney Care (Soon to be Vantive) global Talent Management strategy such as development programs, culture initiatives, onboarding, and engagement surveys. 

Your Team:


You will be part of a newly formed, growing team who supports Baxter’s mission to save and sustain lives through our talent. 

Responsibilities:


•    Partners with Learning team to develop and deploy leadership development programs 
•    Establishes and maintains standard new hire orientation; identifies and drives improvements and standardization to provide excellent onboarding experience
•    Produces training content, tools, and resources for various industrial delivery methods to address business needs and develop the talent
•    Provides support, facilitation and coordination of Train-the-Trainer and/or Leader as Teacher sessions for internal partners
•    Designs and drives internal communication campaigns to support development programs and initiatives
•    Supports the transition of Baxter’s DE&I programming for new Baxter’s Kidney Care Company, Vantive in terms of strategy, programming, and business resource groups
•    Supports the execution of multiple cycles of organization-wide (22,000 employees globally) employee engagement and culture surveys, as well as other employee lifecycle listening solutions, including the survey design, system administration, communication plan, survey roll-out as well as creation of dashboards for results analysis to deliver actionable insights to business and HR leadership.
•    Benchmarking externally, and building partnerships with key internal stakeholders (leadership, business HR partners) for gathering feedback to continuously improve talent management processes, systems and reporting, DE&I initiatives, and leadership development programs
•    Enabling global networks and partners to effectively deploy standardized talent management processes such as talent review, succession planning and performance management
•    Managing relationships with selected outside vendors  

Required Experience:


•    A Bachelor's Degree or country equivalent in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Organizational Development, Communication, Training & Development or a related field
•    4 or more years of experience in HR/Talent Management and demonstrated experience in global talent program/project management

Preferred Experience:

•    Proficiency in survey platforms like Glint, Perceptyx, Microsoft Forms or etc.

•    Knowledge of Workday Talent/Performance (preferred), or other HCM/Talent HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.  

•    Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with an ability to tell effective stories, design user guides and training materials
•    Experience working with European Works Councils and unions to implement talent programs and initiatives 

•    Knowledge of data visualization solutions like Tableau (preferred), Qlik, Microsoft BI, etc.

•    Ability to facilitate and present content to a variety of audience types and sizes in multiple modalities 
•    Experience with organizational engagement/culture surveys, employee lifecycle surveys and listening strategies 
•    Demonstrated strategic design and implementation of global talent management initiatives (e.g., talent assessment, talent review and planning, feedback, talent development, etc.) 

•    Strong project management skills to implement programs globally with an ability meet deadlines 
•    Excellent client relationship management and consulting skills 

•    Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, collaborative environment
•    Skilled in encouraging and developing professional relationships with leadership, managers and peers.
•    Ability to anticipate situations, stay ahead of trends and develop original and impactful talent and organizational effectiveness solutions 
•    Ability to work in a highly matrix environment and influence stakeholders 
•    Ability to understand business environment (financial and other)  
•    Strong communication, consulting, and facilitation skills within all levels in the organization; across small groups, virtual environment, and/or classroom setting

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - $156,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive .
