This role is responsible for Planning along with execute and track until final successful delivery of the projects.

• Execute projects in compliance with the applicable Project Management Policy, NPD Procedures and Quality Systems.

• Manages and communicates with the project sponsor and stakeholders at all levels and
  provide senior leadership with status updates in a timely manner.

• Provides timely spending and budget updates.

• Lead the project team in risk identification and mitigation activities.

• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

• Manage vendor partners.

• Provide feedback to functional leaders regarding performance that is fully considered in
  their year-end performance reviews and compensation recommendations.

• Resolve personal/team conflicts and project/functional conflicts.

• Organize and conduct team building activities for the project team.

• Ensure that resources that are required for the project are properly allocated and
  available.

• Understand product acceptability by intended customers; spends time with
  customers/end-users and constantly invests in understanding customer environment.

• Participate in project feasibility studies.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to Core Team members and provide significant
  feedback to functional leaders regarding training needs.

• Ensure that project team members apply good engineering practices during the project
  execution.

• Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team.

• Participate and contribute to product road-mapping and strategy activities.

• Mentor a new Project Leads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Managing multiple Global distributed projects to meet their objectives and deadlines,

• Work on the fundamental Triple constraints and help team to prioritize,

• Escalate the risks in timely manner to the leadership team and stakeholders,

Your Team:

This position will be reporting to the Manager – Systems, Patient Support Systems and Global Surgical Solutions divisions. This position does not have any direct reports. You will need to work collaboratively with R&D and cross functions.   

Your Location:

The role is in Baxter R&D facility in Bangalore India.   

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 to 10 years or Masters with 4 to 7+years’ experience in Bio-medical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field,

• Successful execution of Electromechanical systems/products/parts/processes involving
  product conceptualization to commercial release.

• Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards

• Demonstrated experience working with vendors with different models of engagement.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Project software.

• Ability to work with ambiguity.

• Strong individual contributor who can work effectively in a team and be comfortable with
  change.

• PMI Certification or Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.

• Experience in Agile Methodologies and to implement them based on need of project,
