Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

1. Perform process value analysis to prevent waste through the process.

2. Provide support to implement and enhance the manufacturing monitoring system in terms of quality and output

performance.

3. Perform IQ & Software Validations and process changes driven by new ideas or improvement.

4. Support Process & Product Validation’s.

5. Provide new ideas to enhance products, improve machines performance and scrap reduction.

6. Generate corrective actions as required to eliminate the root cause of scrap and quality issues.

7. Provide technical training to machine operators and technicians.

8. Develop automation projects and provide support during implementations.

9. Establish a customer-supplier relationship with other manufacturing areas.

10. Supervise machine operators, technicians, technologists, and group leaders.

11. Coordinate with manufacturing areas preventive maintenance activities.

12. Coordinate jobs related to Automation Department with Quality, Process & Product and Manufacturing personnel.

13. Capital projects coordination & VIP project development.

14. Interact and coordinate with contractor’s shutdown activities and projects.

15. Performs routine engineering assignments, which are typically focused on small & medium projects. These tasks

will provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, techniques, theories, corporate

and divisional SOP's policies.

16. Document development work, including writing specifications for manufacturing or scientific test results.

16. Ability to solve daily process & machines situations and engineering tasks with some assistance. Able to solve problems with periodic monitoring. 17. Assists in the preparation and participation in technical reviews and responsible for organizing data and preparing appropriate documentation for assigned projects. 18. Promote a zero-harm workplace, and assure that required EHS resources are available and that all applicable EHS practices and rules are being followed by supervised employees. 19. Observe data privacy and confidentiality rules at all time. 20. Improve technical group performance through teamwork and personal accountability; ensure we have the right talent and capabilities to achieve our business results. 21. Support to all initiatives to improve Efficiency, Productivity and Reduce Conversion Loss & Downtime. 22. Equipment optimization and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and setup time. 23. Support plant initiatives like: TPM, Tier Meetings, 6’s program, etc. 24. Able to submit capital projects justifications for small projects. 25. Support during investigations, corrective & preventive actions implementation to response customers complains.
