Senior Project Manager - OpEx

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end management of key projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, on time, and budget. The Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for business customers, helping to improve processes and systems and develop strong, cooperative relationships with stakeholders. The Project Manager will be expected to foster continuous improvement and high standards of quality and customer satisfaction across all projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Setup, Planning,and Execution: Develop initial project deliverables, including feasibility studies, risk assessments, project initiation reports, staffing outlines, and project execution and control procedures.
• Leadership and Team Support: Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, facilitating issue resolution and a collaborative environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serves as the primary liaison with business customers, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing project-related processes.
• Building Partnerships: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective two-way communication within both local and international contexts.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, ensuring that deliverables align with quality standards and customer expectations, and make adjustments to resources as necessary.
• Process Innovation: Design and implement new processes to ensure smooth and effective execution of mission-critical systems.
• Presentations and Updates: Prepare and deliver clear project updates and presentations, including weekly or bi-weekly reports for stakeholders that provide a transparent view of project status.
• Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, including resources and CAPEX, to maintain effective allocation and cost control.
• Project Handover and Service Introduction: Facilitate the smooth transition of completed projects to Operations, coordinating closely with Business Development and Operations teams.

Qualifications

Work Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within a global organization.
• Strong background in Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experienced in bridging processes and technology to drive efficiency, streamline operations, and enable scalable solutions through strategic project management.
• Proven experience working in a multicultural and multinational environment, fostering collaborative and cross-regional communication.
• Proven experience in managing and collaborating with teams across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and productivity through effective digital tools and structured workflows.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects within JD Edwards and SAP environment, with a strong understanding of ERP projects dynamics.
• Proven track record in leading complex programs and managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
• Extensive experience in measuring value realization to ensure projects deliver quantifiable business outcomes.
• Experience in leading change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions, structured framework, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication.
• Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus. Demonstrating expertise in process improvement and optimization.
• Experience in Share Service Center transitions is a plus. Managing migration and integration of processes to share services environment.

Skills and Competencies:

• Project and Portfolio Management (PPM): Knowledge and skills in project and portfolio management practices; PPM certification and Agile (Scrum Master or SAFe)
• Agile Frameworks: Proficiency in Agile practices with a deep understanding of its principles, enabling flexibility and adaptability in project work. Agile certification is required.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship-building capabilities, with experience managing communication across diverse groups, including executives and external partners.
• Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking: Skilled in analyzing information to generate logical, effective solutions to challenges.
• Adaptability and Resilience: Demonstrates calmness and adaptability in high-stress situations, showing flexibility to shifting circumstances.
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership and team-building skills to guide project teams toward successful outcomes.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all project elements.
• Willingness to travel as needed, showing adaptability and responsiveness in a role requiring frequent adjustments.
