Your role at Baxter
As the Sr. Human Resources Manager for our Cali manufacturing plant, you will drive initiatives related to organization and management team effectiveness, organization design and implementation of HR processes and systems across the site. You will be a strategic partner who will lead and engage with our employees to enable their maximum contribution. In addition, you will provide HR support and leadership to 1000 employee facilities. This is a working manager role with the opportunity to work directly with the local employee population and partner strategically with leadership. Reporting to the HR Director supporting Solutions Region Operations.
What you'll be doing
Define and implement the talent strategy site for all employees.
Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and desired organizational culture
Process HR Operational Transactions related to Workday and timekeeping/payroll systems.
Drive initiatives to improve efficiencies and cost savings.
Consult with management on various HR and business-related issues, both strategic and operational.
Manage day-to-day employee relations, staffing, and compensation issues with managers and external partners.
Support organization-wide talent planning initiatives (in partnership with talent management CoE) including assessment, calibration, development planning, and succession planning.
Support remediation activities happening at the site level.
Facilitate New Hire Orientation and HR Training programs.
Manage recordkeeping and filing system through knowledge of Microsoft Applications and specialized software/systems in HR-related field.
Support employee promotion and hiring process; develop or update job descriptions, attend job fairs, and assist with developing performance expectations.
Support all compliance requirements and ensure an ethical, non-discriminatory, and safe work environment.
What you'll bring
Professional in administrative careers, engineering, law, or psychology.
Master's degree in Human Resources or related fields.
Experience in Human Resources in production plants.
Experience and knowledge of Labor Relations.
Experience in handling unions and collective bargaining agreements.
ERP management.
English B2.
