Your role at Baxter:

This Superintendent of Warehouse has overall responsibility for the Frames, Acton and Surface warehouse operations. Will lead a team, management, and direction to supervisors to achieve KPI targets in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost/budget fulfillment, and Delivery. Establishment, leadership, and execution of strategies to ensure production continuity.

 Your Team:

This role will partner with colleagues in Manufacturing engineers, Sustaining Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, Quality, Sourcing, Buyers and Finance to identify and implement process improvements while keeping our production processes operating at top performance to support the company´s continued growth.

What you'll be doing

• Core activities : 85%:
• Responsible of all procedures, work instructions and documents related to internal logistics applicable to material flow between Warehouse, supermarkets & production lines.
• Evaluate and Improved internal Logistic activities and tools related to material supply within the lines, material movements, calculation of supermarkets for raw material.
• Related to Supermarket for Raw Material, is responsible to keep up to day PFEP (Plan For Every Part) tool and its maintenance.
• Responsible of continuous improvement activities related to internal logistics.
• Projects activities with other departments: 10%
• Actively participate on projects for preparation of new product lines, warehouse area in order to keep standard activities within the plant related to internal logistics.
• Coordinate cycle count focus on key materials
• No downtime by material supplier from warehouse.
• Participate and support quality, safety and environmental plant goals, responsible for Warehouse projects.
• Coordinate the JDE transactions
• Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse. Oversee materials are received, stored, shipped and reported in accordance with established procedures. Direct and supervise warehouse staff. Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment.
• Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted. - Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
• Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities. Audit goods received into the warehouse.
• Coach and mentor team members in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
• Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and are filled out accurately.
• Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provide technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews.
• Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.

What you'll bring

Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent combination of work experience and education in a specific technical discipline.

The position requires: Analytic, Enthusiasm, Optimistic, Self-starter, Perseverant, Pro-active skills. Computer skills: MS Office, experience in use of SAP are advantages. Documentation process experience (standards work and work instructions)

3 years’ experience in the warehouse (preferred). At least 3 years working experience within the supply chain management field, Used to be working with warehouse transactions processes, KPIs and optimization, Knows how to apply supply chain concepts for end-to end value chains, Deep knowledge within JDE systems for the supply chain module. Has an analytical and structured approach, is a professional in making fact-based analysis.
