Your role at Baxter

As a Training Clerk, this is where you will be coordinating training and certification activities to ensure that the plant meets local and corporate procedures. You will be responsible for managing the plant Manufacturing Certification process.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate the initial training, certification and re-certifications process of Manufacturing employees and other areas as required.
• Review and improve Manufacturing process manuals as applicable along with area supervisor and Manufacturing support.
• Certify employees on applicable assembly techniques per the On-The-Job Training process.
• Maintain documentation control of the training process through paper and electronic records.
• Maintain training system data updated with all performed training. Responsible for data entry process.
• Maintain archiving control of employee physical certification records. 
• Participate in the induction training program along with Human Resources department.
• Active participation in the plant Q-Code team for issues resolution, where Training is defined as a contributing factor or a root cause.
• Support the complaints analysis per request.
• Create, maintain and update local training matrices and modules per DH-01-02-003.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of the Manufacturing Certification Programs. Provide support to Group Leaders, Quality Operations personnel, etc. when required. Assist with employees’ rotation in the different assembly techniques.
• Follow-up to plant-wide training requirements though reporting and notifications.
• Monitor on-time training completion and indicators. Recommend strategies for employee timely training completion.
• Support the annual GMP/GDP refresher to plant-wide employees.
• Report (dotted-line) to the Training area for tasks assignments/distribution and projects management.
• Support the validation process to ensure only certified personnel participates in the runs per approved protocols.
• Provide evidence of implemented action plans for audits and CAPAs related to Training area.
• Develop and implement improvement projects. Manage assigned resources and materials.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices (GMP and GDP) standards.
• Support Documentation Center as Back-up when requested, regarding procedures updates and overall document control at the plant.
• Support the 6’S to ensure La Escuelita complies with the program.

What you'll bring

• Term student, Bachelor of industrial engineering, management or related careers.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing/ quality and on process operation.
• Computerized systems knowledge.
• Knowledgeable of GMP, GDP, regulatory standards, specifications and SOPS management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Content delivery skills and competence for successful knowledge transfer.
• Train the trainer certification (desired).
• Intermediate English (desired).
