We are looking for a Hard working Production Technician, PPB Pack, on our Continental Day shift. Starting wage is $30.75/hour.

As a Production Technician on the PPB Pack Continental Day Shift, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for flawless production and world-class healthcare solutions.

Major Responsibilities / Activities

70%

  • Start up and operate all equipment within the department seamlessly.
  • Rotate through various tasks, including moving full sterilizer trucks, unloading and inspecting bottles, and ensuring labels are clear and accurate.
  • Stack cartons on pallets, verify codes, and ensure all printing is accurate.
  • Push full pallets to staging areas and manage empty pallets efficiently.
  • Recharge electric batteries as required to maintain continuous operations.

10%

  • Perform comprehensive maintenance on machinery and ancillary equipment.
  • Complete both major and minor adjustments to ensure equipment operates per specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to the Solution fill machine, label applicator, and packaging equipment.
  • Strictly adhere to SOP and GMP standards, ensuring all audit points are met.
  • Conduct daily fault finding and resolve issues to optimize quality and performance.
  • Carry out changeovers, set-ups, and preventative maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually).

  • Complete all necessary paperwork meticulously, including records of absenteeism, hours, and vacation.
  • Schedule batch changes and apply computer systems like Kronos/AS400 and EBR efficiently.
  • Perform required QA checks to maintain outstanding standards.
  • Assist in line clearances and changeovers, and ensure labels and raw materials are ordered timely.

10%

  • Support Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation by maintaining the department in 6S condition.
  • Track production, identify root causes of issues, and implement countermeasures effectively.
  • Actively participate in the IDEAS program, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Complete basic Preventative Maintenance on equipment and engage in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) teams to drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate and maintain complex machinery with precision.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to make quick, effective adjustments.
  • Familiarity with SOP and GMP standards.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Computer literacy, with experience using systems like Kronos/AS400 and EBR.
