*Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise a team of Facilities technicians in supporting site facility maintenance, utilities services, critical systems and M&E related projects.
2. Provide support to Mechanical, Electrical, Buildings and Ground services to the plant to achieve minimum production downtime due to Facilities Equipment breakdown.
a) Develop schedule servicing and preventive maintenance program effectively and implement accordingly. 
b) Supervise and train facility maintenance technicians in the daily maintenance works and trouble shooting of plant facilities equipment and Building services.
c) Supervise and monitor contractors to carry out the servicing and repair of plant equipment as per contract specification, GMP and EHS requirement.

3. Ensure that all the critical system maintenance comply to Baxter & regulatory standards and prevent non-conformance.
a) Supervise and train facility maintenance technicians to perform operation and maintenance of critical system as per specification and SOP compliance. 
b) Revise, review and implementation new specifications and SOP.
c) To perform validation for new equipment and system.
d) Revise and review of current procedures to ensure compliance.

4. To improve on current system for ongoing improvement.
a) Regular review conducted on current system & practices implement change when necessary.
b) Carry out modifications to current system or introduce new system available in market after feasibility study.
c) Minimize EHS impact when undertaking system changes.

5. Manage projects to ensure projects on schedule, comply regulatory and technical requirement.
a) Supervise and closely follow up with direct reports and contractors on the progress of the projects status. 
b) Coordinate with plant personnel when operation is affected.
c) Check and build as per specification requirement.
d) Ensure contractor comply to EHS rules & regulations and GMP requirements.

6. Manage the site Lean Energy program and champion for sustainability effort in energy management system to maintain ISO 50001 certification.

7. VIP & EHS and optimum operation budget:
a) To implement energy conservation projects.
b) Automation and improve efficiency of Facilities equipment.

8. Responsible for compliance to EHS procedure and requirement.

Gamma operation:

1. Liaise with customers (BD) on Gamma irradiation services requirement as required.

2. Manage Gamma Source Loading / Source return and decommissioning activities.

3. Provide Gamma engineering support / Capacity analysis.

4. Gamma Business Development

Qualifications/ Education: 
• Degree in Facility Engineering or equivalent

Skill Set and/or Experience: 

• Degree with Min 8 years / Diploma with Min 10 years of relevant experience in Facilities Engineering
• Obtained Singapore Energy Manager certification.
• ISO 50001, Energy Management System 
• Strong operating knowledge in various utilities system like, Boiler, chiller, compressed air system or other plant equipment maintenance.
