The Role:

You have deep knowledge of and experience with manufacturing processes. You understand the importance of building relationships, establishing order, and maintaining clear communication channels. As a Process Engineer, you are a leader who is willing to listen and inspire others by your actions. You also appreciate the stability of a large multinational company with a long history of growth and success.

Your role as a Process Engineer positions you will be Supporting our Manufacturing function to achieve operational goals by partnering with Production function to provide technical solutions and programs to ensure OEE for all equipment is maximized and continuously improved and leading manufacturing process quality improvement efforts to continuously reduce quality risks and reduce waste.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Production Managers and Maintenance function to drive equipment performance so continuously improving OEE and Quality outcomes are achieved.

  • Provide SME and Technical Training support to Operations and Maintenance Personnel

  • Participate in quality non-conformance investigations as equipment SME.

  • Work closely with Maintenance reliability team to devise and deploy tactical and strategic maintenance programs (RCM, TPM) that achieves reliability goals.

  • Work with Project Engineering function to ensure strategic alignment on capacity and maintainability of key equipment.

  • Contribute to developing key equipment specifications

  • Identify and implement small value improvement projects within manufacturing.

  • Ensure relevant Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and policies are considered and applied in all aspects of works undertaken.

  • Drive proactive compliance with regulatory requirements, including PIC/S and Code of GMP

  • Perform other duties as required

  • Foster a positive work environment where employees feel motivated and recognise achievements.

  • Facilitate effective communication within your team and across different departments. Encourage collaboration and create an environment where everyone shares ideas and opinions.

  • Identify training and development needs within the team and provide opportunities for growth and succession.

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering disciplines

Experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of cGMP

  • Experience / Familiarity with automation equipment and systems.

  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written; Stakeholder management

  • Proactive mindset and ability to work autonomously and cope with ambiguity

Skills:

  • Proven skills and experience in manufacturing process automation, eg PLCs, Servo Drives, Robotics.

  • Strong talent for multi-tasking and managing competing priorities to deliver targeted results on time.

  • Good analytical and organizational skills.

  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to respond quickly to fast-moving and ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to engage with many levels within the organization and across different segments of the business.

  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer needs.

  • Works independently within established procedures.

  • Functional experience using ERP system (Oracle).

  • Adaptability and flexibility when faced with challenges.
