As a Clinical Consultant you will be a Clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support a broader team in selling and delivering new clinical workflows, integration consulting and process/program improvement for mobile staff communications, alert and alarm management, and nurse call platforms. Such support includes contributing content to scope of work documentation, designing workflows, consulting on configuration of alarm management middleware, executing alarm and event integration test plans and developing clinical simulations for prospective and existing customers.You will work in close partnership with Sales, Project Management, Implementation and Service Team members.You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where change is an on-going constant.
What you'll be doing
• Manage multiple, concurrent projects from assessment through implementation of clinical integration consulting programs
• Successful recommendation and implementation of process improvement initiatives through program assessment; best-practice standards; and resource and educational support
• Implement post sales education regarding program analysis, development, implementation, and support related to workflow optimization, clinical efficiency and effectiveness, the early detection of patient deterioration, and reduction of patient falls, pulmonary complications, pressure injuries, and hospital acquired infections
• Clinically assess health care organizations related to the effectiveness of current processes and protocols
• Collaboratively work with individual health care organizations and/or corporations to ensure successful implementation of program and process implementation resulting in customer satisfaction and increased patient satisfaction
• Collect data, analyze, and present to customers to demonstrate program and consulting success
• Up to 75% travel
What you'll bring
• Clinical Informatics, RN, BSN, or other healthcare degree, with at least five years’ experience in the hospital-clinical environment working with multiple levels of hospital staff and leadership
• Demonstrated ability to design and successfully implement clinical change management and technology adoption
• Experience developing program education based on best-practices and evidence-based standards to drive high-level quality patient outcomes
• Strong knowledge of clinical alarm management middleware solutions, Electronic Health Records, quality and performance improvement processes, and health care quality initiatives
• Confidence in leading hospital stakeholder meetings with Nursing, IT, Administration, etc.
