Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculating gross pay, dedutions, and net pay, and generating payroll reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings, reporting requirements, and wage and hour laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, payroll history, and benefits enrollment.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
- Assist with year-end tax filings, and state tax reports.
- Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Stay current on payroll regulations and best practices and implement changes as necessary.
- Provide payroll-related resources and training to employees.
- Proactively communicates and with and interprets HR policies, practices and key HR programs to employees and managers
- Data management responsibilities to include processing workflow changes in Workday, audits of data, earnings uploads and data correction workflows
- Responsible for designing and executing various sized projects in coordination with partners inside and outside of the local facility
- Maintain measurement systems and analyze data to determine the impact of HR programs.
- Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR, preferably in a multi-national or complex organization, with a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, or highly related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive HR strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business leaders to align HR strategies with the organization's overall objectives.
- Strong understanding of talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and retention strategies.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
Education:
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field,
