Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Director of Manufacturing Strategy MPT (Medical Products & Therapies) to lead our global manufacturing strategy. Essential Functions

• Take ownership of ISC goals, coordinating with various teams to ensure streamlined execution and alignment with critical touchpoints.
• **Business Opportunities Assessment**: Complete landscaping and assess business opportunities across manufacturing plants to determine partnerships beyond core technologies and processes, growing standardization, operational improvement, and growth initiatives.
• **Competitive Advantage**: Ensure the MPT manufacturing network is positioned to be a source of competitive advantage, capable of delivering long-term performance.
• **Supporting Decision-Making**: Facilitate the MPT planning processes, providing assistance to VPs in resolving strategic challenges and determining investment priorities.
• **Launch Excellence**: Provide full support for launch excellence in MPT initiatives and manage new product introductions.
• **Capacity Planning**: Ensure adequate capacity in the MPT manufacturing network to support commercial strategies.
• **Network Optimization**: Support network optimization initiatives, including localization, insourcing, and manufacturing footprint optimization.

Key Qualifications

• **Educational Background**: Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering and a master’s degree in business administration or project management, or equivalent experience.
• **Experience**: Requires ten or more years of solid business experience and at least five years of management experience taking care of business and manufacturing issues.
• **Industry Knowledge**: Experience in large-scale, medical device manufacturing networks is highly preferred.
• **Technical Skills**: Strong quantitative and qualitative assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to constructively challenge ideas and assumptions.
• **Strategic Orientation**: Ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity and help translate ideas into manufacturing/business strategies.
• **Leadership and Influence**: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others, with experience working in a collaborative organizational structure.
